The prism used to prop up this antique camera belonged to my grandfather. He was a telescope maker for Grubbs of Dublin, who made some of notable early astronomical telescopes. I used to make rainbows on the classroom ceiling with this when the teacher wasn't looking. This drawing was executed entirely freehand from the still life setup — no rulers!
